A Reason To Do Right

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil.  Job 1:8 KJV

We all have a nature of fear.

An emotion that is excited by an expectation of evil, or the feeling of impending danger.

It causes us to think we have no security.

To deliberately avoid using or doing somethingwhen we feel something evil is about to happen.

We all need help when it comes to dealing with our fears and avoiding those things that would hurt us.

The trials of Job help us to learn that patience is a great way to overcome our fears.

How to continue to strive to do right, despite our circumstances.

They are very useful and much needed because of the times we are living in now.

While we are on this earth, the enemy of God and His people, will continue to try to lead us astray.

To cause distress and destroy all who love God.

The good news is we are still living under the same spiritual and  protective care of God that Job experienced.

A Father that will allow us to sometimes suffer, humbling us unto righteousness, but always showing us love.

In the end, we prosper like Job.

Because we continued to do things the right way.

We are always within the Lord’s reach.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, let the Scriptures continue to speak to us. Teaching us that God directs the affairs of the world.  No matter what we are going through in life, He is there. May we not let our fears keep us from continually walking according to the Word.  Having faith, just like Job.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
