Walking is a good form of exercising.
When we place one foot in front of the other, it has both mental and physical benefits.
It’s even more beneficial when we have a given path and someone to walk and talk with.
Enoch walked with God daily.
Always in His constant care, mentally and physically.
God was the joy of his life.
So much so that the Holy Spirit even acknowledged that he was not just living but walking with God.
Enoch did all this while others were living a worldly life.
God, in return for Enoch’s faithfulness, did not let him leave this world by death.
He walked him from the world path onto the Heavenly path.
When we give our lives to Christ, the same holds true for us also.
We may still be in the world but are no longer of this world.
We are changed.
Walking on the path of righteousness.
Living a long and prosperous life, till God takes us home.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, just like Enoch, we give ourselves to You. No longer living according to the world. We are walking with You in holiness. Knowing that our walk can be long, filled with good and bad times, but leads to a greater finish. A greater life, with You, in Heaven.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
