Family is known as father, mother, siblings, grandparents and many other blood or adopted relatives.
There are even those we are so close to we call them our extended family.
Biblically, a family is ordained by God.
It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption.
As a family, the Lord has told us we are to take care of one another.
Especially our biological family.
To be there in the good times, as well as, the bad.
To honor one another, especially those that are up in age.
To make provisions for one another as much as we are able.
Knowing that a time may come when the same assistance may be needed by us.
Praying that we don’t find ourselves alone.
That we do not lose faith and become enemies of the Word, but remain true believers.
Believers acknowledging and professing the doctrines of grace in all that we do.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we thank You for the love and mercies You have bestowed on us. The same love and mercies we are to bestow on one another. Help us to remember to show this always and forevermore.
