A genuine friend is someone you can talk to.
Not someone that is only there to direct and control another person. Their servant.
When we give ourselves to the Lord, He has told us that we are not considered servants in the terms of someone who is a personal attendant.
Nor in the sense that we are performing duties in the home of a master or personal employer.
He is a true, loyal and honest friend that wants us to know about everything that the Father has for us.
A friend that stands up for us.
Doing everything He can to make sure we stay safe.
Defending us anytime, anywhere.
The Lord has shown and told us this, because He desires us to walk in His ways and be a friend to others.
Inspiring them to do this noble work of friendship.
He has been a honest and loyal friend.
It is time for us to do the same.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, You have shown us the way of the Father. That when others try to hurt us, You are there. There to make sure we stay safe. The showing of love from a true friend. An example that should direct us to show the same to each other. We thank You for being a true friend.
