As we live and breathe, we are bound to make mistakes.
Mistakes that lead to an action or judgment that is misguided or wrong.
How we handle them is what makes the difference.
Keeping in mind that anything we do, in word, deed, or desire in opposition to the eternal law of God is a sin. A big mistake.
When we acknowledge our mistakes and have a sincere regret or guilt for the wrong committed, forgiveness is possible.
Man is not always willing to forgive, but the Lord desires to forgive and keep us on the right track.
That’s why He sacrificed His life for us on the cross.
A sacrifice that allows us to honestly confess our sins, receive forgiveness and know we can stay delivered from them.
Our confessions to the Lord, always brings a cleansing.
Praise God for His cleansing power and His never ending forgiveness.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, let us honestly confess all our sins to You, relying wholly on Your mercy and truth through the righteousness of Christ. Knowing that You are a forgiving God who desires to deliver us from the power and practice of sin. Help us to remain steadfast in the Word. Thank You for forgiveness.
