Read: Psalms 84
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. Psalms 84:11 KJV
We all know that a close relationship with someone is important.
There is always a sense of love and protection.
There is nothing greater than the feeling we are not alone.
In today’s scripture the psalmist expressed, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalms 84:11 KJV).
The sun represents God’s comforting presence.
His shield is the protecting care shown to us.
Feelings that will always be felt when we have a relationship with God.
There is nothing He will not do for those who love and trust Him.
Because of this trust, we should have no problem with “walking uprightly.”
There will be times when the devil will try to tell us God is withholding something good from us.
A lie to keep us from taking refuge in the Father.
That is when we are determined to fight the good fight of faith.
Being victorious in the end.
Powerful will our testimonies be.
Our way of letting others know they can rest upon God’s promises.
Praying others will see that He wants us to live in the joy of His strength.
In the security of His protection and blessings of His favor.
May we let nothing keep us from enjoying all that the Father has for our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, it is good to know that no matter our circumstances, we can put our trust in You. By faith, we can always come to You. When we do, our lives will end with a happier outcome. Let us continue to walk uprightly. Keeping all our trust in You. It is the only way we will make it through life.
