There are times when we all need a tension breaker.
Confusion is all around us and it seems like troubles will never end.
We want a way to find relief from it all.
As Christians, we have the best means of experiencing relief from tension and worry.
God has promised that He will keep us in perfect peace, if we keep our minds stayed on Him.
That’s what the Prophet Isaiah declared unto the Lord.
He said, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (v.3).
Perfect peace, inward peace, outward peace, peace with God, peace of conscience, peace always and in all events.
Who wouldn’t want that?
We get all this when we remember that God’s watchful eye is always upon us.
We must trust in Him for His protection and provisions.
He is in control and everything He allows or ordains is for our good.
Our deep and abiding love for Him will always bring us the peace and relaxation that we need.
Trust in Him.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know that our trust in the world will only last for a moment. That when we put our trust in You, we will not only find and receive peace, but the blessedness You give will last forever. May we always acknowledge You in all our ways and rely on You in all our trials. We know we will have perfect peace when our minds are stayed on Thee. Thank You Lord.
