Each morning brings a new day. A fresh outpouring of God’s love, mercy, and grace.
The Scriptures listed below are just some that highlight the concept of anew day as a fresh start and a gift from God.
Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV:
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
This passage highlights the steadfast love and unending mercies of God. Ones that are renewed each morning. It is given to encourage believers to see each new day as a fresh opportunity to experience God’s faithfulness.
Psalms 118:24 KJV:
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
This verse invites believers to rejoice and be glad in the new day. Always recognizing it as a gift from the Lord. Seeing it as a call to gratitude. Seeing it as a reminder to appreciate the blessings of a new beginning.
Luke 1:78-79 KJV:
“Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
This passage speaks of a “new day” dawning from above. That it is brought about by God’s loving and merciful nature. It is a promise to give light to those in darkness. To guide all believers towards peace.
Isaiah 41:10 KJV:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
This passage offers comfort and strength. It reminds believers that God is with them. He will help us overcome challenges. We are not to fear, because God will strengthen and uphold us.
Philippians 3:13-14 KJV:
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
This passage encourages us to let go of past failures. To focus on the future that God has for believers. It strongly encourages us to press on towards our Heavenly goal.
2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV:
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
This verse speaks of a “new creation” in Christ. Where our old self is changed and the new self comes into view. It highlights how we are changed by the power of faith. How there is a new beginning in Christ.

A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we thank You for the gift of a new day. For giving us the opportunity for a fresh start. For the renewed mercies and faithfulness. We are thankful for the guidance and wisdom received. We always need help with making the right choices according to Your will. Give us love and compassion in all we go through. Bless our family, friends, and those in need. We put our trust in You. In Your presence we will always find peace and joy.
