Workmanship is the degree of skill with which a product is made.
Most often, it is handcrafted.
A lot of love and time is put into crafting each one of them.
Nothing but the best is the goal for the end product.
We are a product of God’s workmanship.
His handiwork is so magnificent, no one could ever match it.
He has put in a lot of time and effort to ensure that, we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
We are blessed by all the things He has used to create us.
The Word is what we have to keep us in good condition.
In this chapter of Psalms, David starts off by celebrating God’s ultimate knowledge of him (vv. 1-6).
He even acknowledges God’s all encompassing presence (vv. 7-12).
That God is a master craftsman who not only formed the details of his internal and external features, He made him a living soul.
In all His workmanship, he was given spiritual life and the ability to relate to God in a personal, private and passionate way.
The more David thought about God’s handiwork, he responded in awe, wonder, and praise (v.14).
God created us just like He did David.
He made us with one of a kind qualities that shows how remarkable and special we all are.
Along with the awesome ability to have a loving relationship with Him.
Just like David did, we should praise Him because we are the workmanship of His loving hands.
To craft something takes a lot of time and effort.
It is so wonderful to know that He took the time to create us with so much love and care.
But that’s not the end of it.
Things in life can sometimes cause some cracks in our structure.
That is when we must remember to go back to the Craftsman for repairs. Knowing it will be taken care of.
Everyday, we should praise Him for being there whenever we need care, treatment, help, or supervision.
For keeping us in His loving hands.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, like David, we praise You because we know that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We know that marvelous are Your works. Thank You for what You have done and will do in our lives.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
