James 2:12 KJV
We all have our faults and are not in a position to judge anyone else.
God is the only one who can sit in the seat of judgment. He is the only True Judge.
James reminds us that we are to be careful of how we speak and act, because one day we will be judged.
To remember, how much we have been given and the many sins forgiven by the Lord.
That all professions of faith are in vain, when it does not produce love and justice to others.
We could have all the riches and honors of this world, but to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom is greater.
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.” Matthew 7:1 KJV
In all our dealings, let us remember the love and mercy that God has shown us.
He gives us opportunities daily to speak and act according to the Word, show love and extend it to others.
Let us “speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom” (James 2:12 NIV).
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we are grateful for the great mercies You have shown us. May we abide in Your Word and offer similar mercy to others, showing our gratitude to You. We are all Your children no matter our status in life.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
