Today’s Inspiration: Sacrificial Prase – Showing A Spectacular, Powerful Heart of Gratitude
Today’s Reading: Psalms 100
Today’s Verse: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” Psalms 100:4 KJV
We receive great encouragement when we cheerfully worship God.
There are so many rich promises of grace set down in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament. They strengthen the faith of every weak believer. They make the matter of God’s praise and of our joys so sure. No matter how sad our spirits may be, we shall have reason to praise the Lord.
We find comfort when we look at His goodness and mercy. When we take time to read what He has said in His Word.
We should be thankful for God’s character and love.
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name” (Psalms 100:4 KJV).
“Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 106:1 KJV).
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 136:1 KJV).
Thankful to Him in all situations.
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV).
“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28 KJV).
We should be thankful for His actions and gifts.
“I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works” (Psalms 9:1 KJV).
“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57 KJV).
May we never forget to tell God “Thank You” for all He has done. For all the victories we have won. For all the victories we have yet to win.
“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17 KJV).
“Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving” (Colossians 4:2 KJV).
We find meaning in our faith knowing that God empowers us through prayer and thanksgiving.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we are thankful that You allow us to come to You. That we can come to You, no matter the time of day. That You hear our every prayer. That You provide comfort and wisdom. With our whole hearts we will forever worship You. We will forever give You all the praise. Your grace and mercy always sees us through. Thank You for the victory.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
