The Wilderness

And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place. Deuteronomy 1:31 KJV

We all have some scary and some hard times in our lives.  Times when we feel we need someone around to help us get through it.  Not sure what roads we should take.

Those are the times we should remember how Moses reminded the Israelites that although they were in the wilderness, God was with them and they had nothing to fear.  That they must not have unbelief and to not be disobedient.

The same holds true for us also.

No matter what we are going through. No matter what has us frightened or scared, we are not alone.  God is with us, to lead and guide us through it all.

God does get angry when He is trying to guide us but we continue in unbelief and disobedience.

Our obedience spring from our trust and faith in God.

We should be asking for forgiveness. Remembering how He has kept and protected us. Giving thanks for the grace and mercy He has and is bestowing on us as we continue to abide by His Word.

A WORD OF PRAYER

God, we thank you for our ability to confess our sins and seek Your forgiveness. For the ability to accept Your Word, receive salvation and surrender ourselves to Your service. Remembering how You have carried us through it all and brought us to a place of peace.  Thank You Father.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
