Matthew 5:3 KJV
Happiness comes in many forms and depends on what a person is truly looking for.
The list can be long, but the number one thing on the list should be, making sure we are right with God.
With God, we are blessed and obtain the best happiness, which comes in all forms.
This verse tells us about one of the many graces our Savior grants us.
Being poor in the spirit is shown when we think, and hold on to these thoughts, about our conditions, our wants, expressing our regrets, and disappointments. The list can be longer.
This spirit of poor is changed when we bring them all to the Savior. It is changed to happiness.
Happiness not because of what we have but because we have a right to the kingdom of grace and glory He has for us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Savior, You are our Redeemer. You know what is best for us. Help us to remember when our spirit is poor to come to You, receive our blessings and secure our place in the kingdom.
