Many are quick to point out the faults of others. None of us are perfect. Even those of us who proclaim to trust in God and live according to the Word.
Christ even warns us of our imperfections in this verse. About being very careful when we blame or constantly try to correct others, when our own behavior is not always acceptable.
There will always be times when we observe a behavior that we know we would not normally accept.
Because we don’t know why someone is behaving that way, we need to pray for or with them. Hoping that if it was one of us, that someone would be praying for or with us too.
When we ignore God’s instructions we are following in the footsteps of those who would do evil. This only leads to destruction.
We are all growing in Christ. We are not to place judgement on anyone, but to encourage one another in righteousness.
We do this by losing the mentality of self-righteousness and having a loving attitude in all our actions.
By being kept by the power of Christ through faith unto salvation.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know none of us are perfect. Reminding us that we all have our weaknesses. Helping us to continue to realize this before we pour judgement out on someone else to look at ourselves. The better we know ourselves, the less often are we to criticize others. Thank You Lord.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
