This is the Time – Receive His Powerful, Wonderful Grace

Today’s Reading: Romans 11:1-8 / Ezra 9:5-9

Today’s Verse: Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. Romans 11:5 KJV

When we look back over our lives, we can find a time that we alone have survived something, and we do not know why.

We wonder how we survived when others did not.

As believers, the more we remain loyal to God, even in a time of hardship, we can make it through anything we face.

His grace and mercy will bring us through anything we go through.

The more we put our trust in Him, we will live a sanctified life. We will be faithful in all our ways.

In today’s reading, the Apostle Paul referred to himself as part of the remnant of God (Romans 11:1,5 KJV).

The term “remnant” refers to a small group of people within Israel who, despite the nation’s general rejection of Christ, have accepted Him. They have found salvation through faith.

Paul is bringing attention to us as being chosen by God’s grace. Which means we did not earn our place in this group through good work or by following the law.

It means we have placed our faith in Jesus as the Messiah. That we have been saved through Him.

Paul knew he was spared to become God’s messenger to Gentiles (Romans 11:13 KJV).

With all that we go through, God has a purpose for it.

Things happen to give us the knowledge to tell others how we made it through our situation with the Lord on our side.

The Father desires to change the hearts and tempers of those it find it difficult to receive the promises of the Word.

As believers, we all needed to make changes in the way we were doing things.

Finding great joy when we realized we should have did it way back when.

We become living testimonies.

Our testimonies of His grace can bring hope to others.

It can be the encouragement they need to continue to grow in faith.

Let us continue to be examples of it means to praise Him for the salvation and grace He has given us.

For always giving us a place a rest through Him and the Word.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, it is wonderful that You are a part of our lives. In You there is a place of rest. All that You have brought us through can be used to encourage others. They are ways to show others ow much love and grace You have for each of us. All the praise and glory belongs to You. Thank You for being the encouragement needed in our lives. For making it possible to live each day with hope and joy. For letting us be living testimonies of Your grace and mercy. We could not make it without You.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
