Today’s Reading: Hebrews 6:7-15
Today’s Verse: “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” Hebrews 6:10 KJV
Often, we feel like our efforts go unnoticed. We feel like everything we have done was in vain.
When people notice our efforts, we feel seen and valued. We have a desire to go beyond expectations. It creates an environment where we want to stay and contribute.
At times, people of faith may wonder if God notices all their actions. He does and He is taking note of everything that we do.
Hebrews 6:10 is a powerful verse. It assures believers that God values their efforts. He is just, and He will not forget their faithful service. He recognizes their labor of love and care for His people in His name.
He is always encouraging us to keep being faithful. Even when we feel that He has forgotten about us.
God loves us and wants what is best for us.
As His children, we are Ambassadors. We are to act in love. To speak in love. Recognizing each other in love is our shared goal.
God wants us to know that by showing love to others is a tangible way to show love for Him. He remembers every act of kindness and helpful deed.
God is just. He will not forget our works. He will not forget the love we have shown Him. How we have helped His people and continued to help them (Hebrews 6:10 NIV).
It is a message of hope. A reminder that our selfless acts of service are not in vain. They have great meaning.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, there are times we feel our efforts go unnoticed. Through You, we know that everything we do in love has great meaning. May we live each day of our lives unto You. We have the chance to serve others. To serve them with love. Thank You that nothing we do ever goes unnoticed. Let our lives be a witness of Your love. A living sacrifice to Your grace and goodness. Thank You for the opportunity to work to Your praise. We desire to love others with the love that You first gave to us. We do it in love to glorify Your name.
