Devoted – A Heart of Trust Lives a Wonderful Life

Today’s Reading: Proverbs 3:1-6

Today’s Verse: “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

Life can bring many tears and sorrows. Times when we question what tomorrow might bring.

We have had moments when we did not know right from wrong. Times when we felt all alone.

The Savior has told us that we are one of His own. To put our trust in Him.

We are never alone. Our struggles build strength. They build our faith.

Today’s verse highlights trusting Him instead of personal feelings. Because our personal feelings lead to pride and downfall.

When we entrust and recognize Him in every aspect of life, He will direct our paths.

This passage is a call for us to surrender control.

We must find purpose and direction through faith in God’s wisdom. Knowing it will lead to a more guided and meaningful life.

Let us thank God for the mountains. Let us thank Him for the valleys. Let us thank Him for the storms He has brought us through.

Because if we never had them, we would never know what faith in His Word could do.

Through it all, learn to trust in Jesus. Learn to trust in God. Learn to depend upon His Word.

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).

Our paths are so much brighter the more we trust in the Lord.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we must trust in the Lord with all our hearts. Believing He is able and wise to do what is best. We must not lean to our own understanding. We acknowledge You in all our ways, so You can direct our paths. You will bring us through it all. Thank You for being there for us. May we continue to learn how to lean and depend upon Your Word.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
