Read: Luke 18:1-8
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
Luke 18:1 KJV
There will always be something going on in our lives and the lives of those we love.
Times when we need to talk with someone about our struggles.
Some individuals are determined that doing things their way is the only way.
When they ask for others’ opinion on what to do and the answer is to pray, they sometimes get defensive.
Saying that prayer will do nothing for them.
They feel they are smart, experienced and have all the technology they need to solve their own problems.
This type of thinking only brings more harm than good.
That is where our faith really comes in.
We know that prayer is key, and our faith unlocks many doors (Matthew 7:7 KJV).
Prayer is a powerful tool that aids us in achieving our goals and finding success in life.
There is nothing too great or too small that we cannot bring to the Savior.
Prayer makes us stronger, morally, and mentally.
If this were not true, the Savior would not have spoken “a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint (Luke 18:1 KJV).
All God’s people are to be praying people.
We are not to be weak in faith.
When we do not trust that we will find an answer to our questions through prayer, we will not have what we need to achieve success from day to day.
Our Father has an unlimited resource when it comes to grace.
Prayer and the reading of the Word will always help them manifest in our lives.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, as the gospel song says, “I need Thee, Oh I need Thee. Every hour I need Thee. O Bless me now my Savior. I come to Thee!” We could never Thank You enough for hearing our prayers. For making a way out of no way. You are the greatest blessing to ever come into our lives. We are nothing without You. Thank You for the love and care You give us.
In Jesus’ Name We Pray, Amen
