Today’s Reading: Isaiah 25:1-5
Today’s Verse: O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. Isaiah 25:1 KJV
In the Bible ‘declaration’ means to make something clearly known. To announce it with authority.
God has a plan for each of our lives. His Word tells us what it is.
As believers, we will declare our faith. Acknowledging His works. Living a life that is obedient and pleasing. Giving Him thanks for all that He has done. For all that He will do in our lives.
In this passage, the Prophet Isaiah begins by giving God praise.
He is praising Him for His faithfulness. For the marvelous works He had accomplished. For the ones that were yet to come.
Even His judgement against enemies. For how He provided for the poor, widows, and orphans. For all the unreasonable burdens they felt.
He was speaking as the voice for the people. For those who had experienced God’s deliverance. Those that received salvation.
It was the beginning of a celebration. A celebration of God’s victory over it all.
It was like a preview of a future feast. A deliverance feast. One where all nations would honor God.
We should sing a song of praise. Showing how we recognize the Father for His enduring and powerful nature. To prepare for future acts of deliverance and salvation.
“O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth” (Isaiah 25:1 KJV)
From the rising of the sun. Until the going down of the same. He is worthy of being praised.
When praises go up, blessings come down.
Praise Him.
He has a Divine plan for each of our lives. One that will always end in victory.
Take the time to give Him praise. Show Him gratitude. Let Him know you are thankful for all that He is doing in your life.
