His Joy: This the Greatest Way, Build Your Strength

Today’s Reading: Nehemiah 8:7-13

Today’s Verse: Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 KJV

Joy is a state of happiness. Joy brings a feeling of gratitude.

There is the feeling of satisfaction. We feel comfortable. We are healthy. We are happy.

We acknowledge and appreciate the positive things in life.

It can be found in many ways. There are meaningful relationships, personal growth, experiences in nature, and acts of kindness. We actively seek out positive experiences.

It is about finding happiness in the present moment. Appreciating the small things.

It is about creating a life that is meaningful. One that is fulfilling.

It is always good to be reminded about the things that bring us joy.

Challenges will still come. Things that will try to steal our joy.

But we have the ability to find happiness and meaning even in difficult times.

Today’s verse is a powerful reminder that God’s joy is our source of strength.

This joy does not put trust in our circumstances.

True joy is not tied to things beyond our control. It has a deep sense of well-being. One that comes from a relationship with God.

It is in knowing God. It is in trusting God.

His love and acceptance of us is powerful. It is the source of our strength.

God’s love for us never changes. He is faithful. He stands by His promises. We just have to lean on Him.

The better we understand God’s word, the more comfort we find in it.

In Him we will find strength beyond what we thought possible.

We no longer let the darkness of trouble arise from the darkness of not knowing Him.

We can face any challenge when we keep our focus on God and His love.

A WORD OF PRAYER

The joy of the Lord is our strength. His joy is a source of hope and peace, especially in difficult times. It will lift us up. It will renew our spirits. It will fill us with hope and peace. Heavenly Father, we are thankful for all the joy You bring to our lives. It is wonderful how through You all our pains, miseries and strife are taken away. Continue to keep us. Helping us stay strong to the end. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. We cannot praise You enough for all that You are doing in our lives. Thank You.

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
