Powerful Faith and Hope – Our Best Way to Victory

Today’s Reading: Romans 8:28-31

Today’s Verse: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 KJV

It is another day’s journey. We may not know what it will bring. But there is one thing that we do know. That with Jesus on our side we are going to make it. Everything will work out fine.

In today’s reading, the apostle speaks as one amazed, and emotional about God’s goodness.

When we get to verse #31, he asks what the conclusion or response to the blessings mentioned in the preceding verses in Romans 8 should be.

We should believe the report of the Lord.

We should be on the side that God is for us. That it does not matter who is against us.

God is on the side of every believer. God has a plan of salvation.

He will not let any external force or opposition have victory over us. We have the power and protection that comes from being in His favor.

His love and support for those who follow Him is great. He is always actively working on our behalf.

We are never alone in our struggles. Nothing can harm us because we have the Lord on our side.

The more we realize that God is for us, and we are kept by His love, we can with boldness defy all the powers of darkness.

So when the burdens of life begin to weigh us down, remember this one thing.

With Jesus on our side, we will make it through any situation.

Somehow, some way, things will work out fine.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that all You do is to the spiritual good of those who love You. You want to keep us from sin and bring us closer to You. We know You are for us. That You are keeping us in Your love. You want us to walk in holy boldness. Defeating the power of darkness. We are thankful for all You do to encourage our faith and hope. To help us walk in Your way. Your work is perfect in every way. We can never thank You enough for all that You do in our lives. From the bottom of our hearts we say, “Thank You.”

In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen
