Be An Abraham

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes.  Genesis 18:27 KJV

There are many occasions when someone may need an intercessor.

Someone who is willing and able to intervene on the behalf of another, especially by prayer.

Abraham prayed earnestly that Sodom might be spared.

He had compassion for the people.

Praying that there be a few righteous people who would be saved.

We all can learn from Abraham what it means to have compassion.

What we should feel for those that are not living according to the Word.

For anyone who has lost their way.

How we should earnestly pray for them.

Praying for their salvation and repentance.

Be encouraged, watch and expect to see the blessings of God revealed.

Revealed upon our families, our friends, our neighborhoods and those we meet along life’s way.

Be an intercessor that prays, because prayer changes things.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we know that the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.  May we continue to follow the lead of Abraham and pray earnestly for those who don’t know You or has gone astray. To be encouraged to watch and see Your blessings revealed.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
