Loved To Love: His Wonderful Way – Fulfill Your Calling

Today’s Reading: Deuteronomy 10:12-22

Today’s Verse: Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt. Deuteronomy 10:19 KJV

On our walk of faith, there are times when we feel uncomfortable where we are.

But like the Apostle Paul, we acknowledge the call on our lives and stay where we are needed.

Fulfilling the present purpose God has on our lives.

Because “For [us] to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21 KJV).

We are to take every opportunity to show Christ to others, even under times of stress.

In today’s reading we are reminded of how God ministered to the Israelites who were leaving Egypt. How He instructed Moses to tell the people to imitate Him by loving and hosting strangers and widows (Deuteronomy 10:18-19; Exodus 22:21-22 KJV).

We also are loved by God and empowered by His Spirt to serve Him by serving others.

Through the Word, we are taught our duty to God in our principles and our practices.

We must fear the Lord our God. Loving Him and delighting in communion with Him.

Walking in the ways in which He has appointed us to walk. Serving Him with all our heart and soul.

Starting now, let us acknowledge His will. So we may love, serve, and obey Him.

Being changed daily into His image.

On this journey, we live and labor together with the Lord. Trusting in Him. Knowing He will show us how to bring hope, kindness, and love to others.

The more we understand God’s love for us, the more love we will show to others.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, to serve You with a full surrender is our desire. There will be times when we feel lost and lonely, but we know You are with us. Giving us the power to continue to shower others with Your love. Bringing them hope and compassion. Each day we pledge to give You are best. We know we are loved by You. That the Holy Spirit is empowering us to serve You. Thank You for making us vessels that can be used by You.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
