Together We Come

Read: 1 Peter 2:6-12

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV

It is always good to hear about all the nations and the different nationalities who are seeking to know the Lord.

The many men and women who have chosen to be used of the Lord.

The fact that we will all be as one someday.

The time will come when this happens.

The Lord wants us all to be ready.

The Scripture has told us that we are united by our faith in Him.

That we are “a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people” (v.9).

True Christians that make one family that is distinct from the world.

We will be sanctified by His Spirit.

Showing the world what it means to be a part of His family.

One that will “shew forth the praises of him who hath called [us] out of darkness into his marvellous light” (v.9); into a state of joy, pleasure, and prosperity.

Our God was not talking about a select few.

We will be part of an enormous Christian family.

That when joined together we become a choir that will sing a new song.

A song that tells Him: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation (Revelation 5:9 NIV).”

It is wonderful and exciting to know that no matter where, because of our faith, we are we are one in Him.

We are brothers and sisters standing in faith in honor of the One who has redeemed us and made us His own.

May we continue to think about it and together give praise to the One who has brought us out of darkness and into His Light.

That one day we all will be together singing praises unto Him.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we are thankful for the grace You show all of us. You brought us out of darkness into Your marvelous light. We give You praise because we know You did not have to do it, but You did. The more we think about all You are doing; we begin to look forward to the day when every nation and nationality comes together to sing a song of praise to You as one. What a day of rejoicing that will be. Thank You Lord.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
