He Sees and Hears

Read: Exodus 3:4-10

And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows. Exodus 3:7 KJV

Trials and tribulations will always come our way. They are a part of life.

There will be times when it seemed like we weren’t going to make it through.

Times when it was hard to gather our thoughts and pray.

When all we could do was groan because it was difficult to put our feelings into words.

We have all been there and as long as we live, they will continue to come.

Our comfort is in knowing that God knows about every one of our problems.

That there is no secret as to what He can do for us.

He even told Moses, “, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows” (v.7).

That He came down to deliver His people out of the hands of the Egyptians and to bring them unto a good land of the Canaanites. A land flowing with milk and honey (v.8).

He desires to do the same for us.

Every time we reveal what is on our hearts to the Lord, we can be sure He hears our cry.

He won’t let us down because He is always there.

May we never forget that He did not bring us this far to leave us.

That He wouldn’t have made a way for us if He did not care.

That the life we have was given to us out of love.

He knows our hearts even when we cannot put our feelings into words.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, You know our sorrows, even the secret sorrows that we bear. Our comfort is in knowing that You hear all our cries, even when we cannot put our feelings into words. Let us listen to the Words You speak unto us and follow Your lead. Like the Word says, by the grace of God we will be delivered from a spiritual Egypt and brought to a heavenly Canaan. Thank You Lord.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
