When All Hope Seems Gone

My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? Psalms 22:1 KJV

In the “twinkling of an eye”, something can happen that can cause us to become discouraged.

We find ourselves at war with negative forces and begin to lose confidence and enthusiasm to press on.

To the point we feel like we are all alone in this battle.

All hope is gone.

Don’t give in to discouragement without a fight.

Don’t just roll over and play dead.

We all can turn our situations around.

The same God that raised Jesus to life, delivered Him and His family from their pain to an eternal life of joy, is the same God that is there to help us through our situations.

It should be our hope that God will answer our desperate cries for help.

That we would be like David.

Talking to the Lord about our afflictions, which is really showing that we have a spiritual life, and we are determined to trust God in the midst of our sufferings.

God will honor our trust by giving us the comfort, strength, and courage needed to keep going.

When it seems like there is nothing left, there is still hope in God.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 KJV

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, when we feel like no one is around and we feel like we have been abandoned, let us cling to the hope You have given us. Hope through Your resurrection, which shows all things are possible, if we believe. That in our believing through these challenges will lead to eternal joy one day. Thank You for hearing our cries and never leaving us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
