Who, What, And Where?

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. Philippians 1:9 KJV

In our lifetime there are too many distractions that cause us to lose focus.

We need to pay attention to where we are, who is around us, and what is going on.

It is in our best interest to have an awareness of our situation and know how to handle things.

That our love of knowledge is what we need to survive.

Paul prayed for the believers in Philippi.

He knew there were many who were struggling and needed guidance.

His desire was for them to have the ability to come to sensible conclusions.

His mission was to help them recognize their ability to obtain spiritual guidance and understanding.

Paul readily prayed that God’s holy people would be good stewards of the love of Christ they had received.

Praying that they would have the ability to determine what was best for their lives.

That they were not alone, and neither are we.

To know the who, what and where’s of our situations is the most beneficial thing we could do.

God is the “who” in our lives.

When we live a life that is full of love, it comes from us acknowledging Him.

Our increasing dependence on Him is the “what” that brings Him pleasure.

When we read the Word and gain knowledge, it is pleasing to God.

He desires for us to acknowledge our need to know Him and be able to handle the things we face in life.

The “where” is anywhere we decide to get to know Him and turn our life over to Him.

A choice that allows us to enjoy, as well as, share our knowledge of the overflowing, great love that He has for us all over the world.

That no matter where we are He is there with us.

He will show us who we need to share our testimonies with.

We should all do like Paul and pray that our love may abound even more in knowledge and in all judgment.

Reason enough to allow God to be in our lives and show His love to us in every circumstance of life.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, let us be mindful of our situations and where we are in life. That You are in our lives, giving us the knowledge, we need to judge our situations and make the right choices. Thank You for the love You give.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
