Working towards something without an immediate result can be frustrating.
Our rewards for doing things are not always going to happen right away.
Making it easy for us to feel that the good things we do are of no value.
Paul explained to the children of Galatia that a man reaps what he sows.
That they must not become weary in doing those things which are good.
For at the proper time, they would reap a harvest of blessings.
The same holds true for all believers.
Our present time is seed time.
A time to plant that which the Lord desires us to sow.
There are two sorts of sowing, the flesh or the Spirit.
The one we choose determines our outcome
Those who live by the flesh, will live a carnal, sensual life.
They only fruit that they can expect are those of misery and ruin.
But those who, under the guidance and influences of the Holy Spirit, will reap life everlasting.
All because they were living a life of faith in Christ, and abounded in Christian graces,
Doing good can be difficult at times, especially when we don’t see or know what the harvest will bring.
But we must be patient and continue to do good.
The harvest will be a great blessing.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know that we will not always see all our rewards immediately. Let us remember that if we live a carnal life, it will bring misery, but to live a holy life will bring us life everlasting. Thank You for the Divine Harvest we seek.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
