Habakkuk 3:18 KJV
I love the lyrics to this song.
“When I look back over my life and I think things over I can truly say that I’ve been blessed.
Sometimes I couldn’t see my way through but the Lord, He brought me out.
Right now, I’m free, I’ve got the victory, I’ve got a testimony.”
That’s why I can rejoice in the Lord and can take joy in the God of my salvation.
I believe that is how the prophet felt when he called to mind former deliverances he received from the Lord.
The Lord would revive His work among the people during the years of adversity.
We can stand on this for every season when the church, or believers, suffer under afflictions and trials.
Sometimes we can’t see our way through, but remember the Lord is always there to bring us out.
When He does, rejoice in the LORD and take joy in the God of our salvation.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, mercy is what we must flee to for refuge. It is our only plea. You show us it every hour of the day. No matter our circumstances, we know in the end we will rejoice and have joy.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
