It has always been fun to find a hiding place behind a corner, jump out just as someone walks past and see the expression of surprise on their face.
It’s all done in fun, but some may be embarrassed and ashamed of their reaction. Others will laugh it off and vow they were going to get you back.
Life is full of surprises, but there will be no surprises when the Lord appears, because He has already forewarned us of His return.
That is why we need to stand on the Word, keep the faith and remain holy so we are not taken by surprise.
The Lord has love and affection for us, His children, and desires the best for us.
He wants to make sure we are ready for His return, with no doubts or fears, only confidence.
We are anointed by the Lord, He abides with us and nothing unexpected will keep us from walking in the most righteous of ways.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know we like to have fun and play jokes on one another, but we know there is no joking about our adherence to the Word. We pray that we all take it seriously, stay rooted in the Word and not be surprised by Your return. We want to be ready when you come Lord.
