WHAT ARE YOU LEARNING?

HE. Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end. Psalms 119:33 KJV

Everywhere on this earth there is some form of law or statutes, usually written, that is passed by a legislative body or someone who has the power to make laws.

An organization or institution also sets their rules that governs how things are done.

These laws or rules can change and cause a person to face many difficulties.

God has a “Divine Law” that never changes.

This Divine Law tells us what we are suppose to be doing, God expectations, and what He will do in return for our obedience.

With anything we are trying to learn, we read the materials we are given, but it doesn’t stop there.

We need to research, get examples, and ask questions.  A true learning process.  A process that reaps many benefits.

That is what the psalmist was doing when he asked the Lord to teach him.

He didn’t just want to read what the statutes said, he want to see actual examples to ensure he was reading things correctly.

He didn’t want to mess anything up and get in trouble.

He knew that the Lord would give him the right understanding and he would benefit from what he learned.

That is what the Lord desires to do for us too.

Once we receive the teachings from the Lord, accepted what it means, nothing can stop us from keeping His commandments for our lives and making it to the end.

He is the best teacher that is available to make sure everyone who desires to learn succeeds.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord may we keep the Bible in our hearts and not on a shelf. Constantly reading Your Word, listening to Your teaching, will give us the knowledge we need to make it in this world and make it to the Promised end, our place with you in Heaven.

In Jesus Name we pray, Amen
