Displeasure

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  Psalms 37:8 KJV

It often does not take much to make us angry. It could be a rude driver, children that are not listening to what we tell them, a spouse that is forgetful, just to name a few.

Anger is bad for our health.

Doctors warn that when we hang on to hostility and anger towards others we are at a greater risk to die from heart disease.

David knew the dangers of anger and encourages us to be patient and confident in God.

Giving us the satisfaction in knowing that God will make it all to work for our good.

No longer letting the things of this world upset us.  Leaving our spirits open to many temptations.

We must be patient and rest in God’s controlling hands.

Changing our atmosphere.

For every minute we are angry we lose too many seconds of happiness.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord, we know it can be easy to become angry and frustrated at the things in life.  Help us to give these over to You, because we know that our frustration and anger will not allow us to fulfill the plan You have for our lives.  We no longer want to lose the peace and happiness that awaits us every second of the day.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
