Someone can be steadfast in a belief, an effort, a plan, or even in their unwillingness to accept some things.
Whatever it is, it means that the person will calmly hold firm to their chosen position and follow through with determination.
They are not able to be easily moved.
In Christianity, diligence is the effort to do one’s part while keeping faith and reliance in God.
Diligence, when combined with faith, assures spiritual success.
Spiritual success that abounds in the works of the Lord, our always doing the Lord’s service, and our obedience to the Lord’s commands.
All the living that we do, in His name or for His glory, is not useless or pointless.
It is to help point someone unto salvation and the “Living Way”, which is through Christ.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, Christ gives us faith, and increases our faith, all so we may not only be safe, but joyful and triumphant. Let us remain steadfast and unmoved when it comes to Your Word. Knowing that when we do, it is not in vain. May we, everyday, yield our lives to You.
