1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV
A magnet is a rock or a piece of metal that can pull certain types of metal toward itself.
The force it has is called magnetism. Which is a basic force of nature, like electricity and gravity.
Magnetism works over a distance. This means that a magnet does not have to be touching an object to pull it.
The Lord is our magnet. He is a powerful attraction.
Believers are drawn to Him from all over the world, becoming one of His children.
A great event awaits us as children of God.
When Christ descends from Heaven, He will draw all believers to Himself.
Those who have died in the Lord and those who are still alive at His coming.
Just like the magnet attracts the metals, we, who are born again, will be caught up to meet our Powerful Magnet, Jesus Christ, in the air!
We shall forever be with the Lord!
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we all have sorrows when we lose the ones we love. Help us to remind and encourage one another. That at Your second coming, for those that died believing in You, there will be a glorious resurrection of their bodies and the rapture of us who are yet living. A second coming that should thrill our hearts. Because we will see them again, but most of all because we will be with You!
