When we are growing up, there are those around us that teach us the basic things in life.
Preparing us for the physical, mental and emotional things we will face.
The more we listen and learn, the more we progress.
Teachings that will also enable us to aide others along the way.
Keeping in mind that teaching is not a one time thing.
We have to continually learn throughout our lives.
The same holds true in our spiritual lives.
The Lord wants us to continue to progress in the knowledge of the gospel.
To be thankful for the teachings we receive from our pastors, clergy and teachers.
But to understand that as we mature more in the Word, we are to also search the Scriptures on our own and apply the truths to our lives.
We have to desire to continue to learn, in order to relish in the goodness, sweetness, and excellence of the truths they hold.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, thank You for the teachers You have put in our lives. Help us to remember that to teach and be taught is an ongoing thing, That there is always something to be learned. That even when we are not in church or in a Bible study, we still have the ability to learn on our own. That You will let us know if we are on the right track. Thank You Lord for the wisdom and knowledge You have and are giving us.
In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
