Elijah was on a mission for the Lord.
He was doing as he was instructed.
Then he began to see the destruction the children of Israel were causing.
They had slain other prophets and threatened his life.
All because they would not receive the Word.
He became fearful and fled.
The Lord has given each of us a mission.
Not everyone will be receptive of the message we are bringing.
They may even make remarks that appear threatening.
We should not let this cause us fear.
Just like Elijah, we should not forget that the Lord would not send us on a mission and not be there for us.
The Lord has many on the same mission of spreading the Word.
He is with them also.
No matter how hard it gets, none of us are alone on this mission.
Let nothing stand in your way.
Don’t give up.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, the energy of Your grace may we feel as we go on this mission to spread Your Word. Letting nothing cause us harm or fear. Because You are with us, we won’t give up.
