Honor and love are two things we all get and give.
From the time we are born, until we leave this earth.
In this chapter (v. 3) it instructs us, as women, that even as we age we are to continue to exhibit a behavior that reflects holiness.
To not be someone who falsely accuses others.
But to be someone who is calm and collected.
Exhibiting good sense, good judgement, wisdom, and a level-head in times of stress.
That we should be teachers of good things.
Loving of our husband and our children.
Teaching the younger generation of women to do the same.
Teaching them what it means to live a life honoring and loving their husband and children.
God’s love is everlasting and when we walk in His ways, our love should reflect the same.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Thank You for the love You have bestowed on us. May we continue to exhibit this same love to our husbands, wives, children and others. Let us be the living examples that even as we age, it still holds true.
That when we do, all the glorious benefits You have in store for us will always be seen.
