A Loving Friendship

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. John 15:15 KJV

All of us have a mutual bond of affection with  someone that we know.

 We consider them our friend.

Someone we can share our experiences with, whether they are good or bad.

That’s what the Lord wants to know.

He doesn’t want us to be just devoted and helpful followers.

He wants us to know that He is there as a friend too.

One we can talk to about any and everything.

He desires to share with us all that He has heard from the Father.

To show us the love He has for us, just like He did for the disciples.

The same love we should show Him and to each other.

A love we should take every  occasion to show.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Lord,  You are a true friend.  Someone who has our back, no matter what. You watch out for us and ensure we are not in danger. You have our best interest at heart.  Thank You for the love You have for us.  For being a loving friend.

In Jesus name we pray, Amen
