At any given moment, life allows us to experience something that is different from what is usual, ordinary, or expected.
Something we have not before known, ever heard, or ever seen.
They can be bad or they can be good.
When bad things happen its to make us stronger.
When good things happen its a reward for doing things the way they should have been done.
Some day we will look back and realize that everything that ever happened to us, good or bad, brought us to a better place.
All because it made us stronger.
As believers, we are encouraged to rejoice and glory in reproaches and sufferings.
Remembering that Christ, because of His sacrifice and faith in God, went through reproaches and sufferings and came out victorious on our behalf.
No matter what we are going through, by patience and fortitude, we are to commit our souls to the care of God.
He is faithful and gives us the strength of mind that enables us to encounter any danger, bear any pains or adversities with courage.
So when the bad things come, keep the faith because God is going to make it all good.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know You suffered for our good. Let us have the patience and fortitude to suffer through whatever life brings our way. Knowing that by our dependence on the promises of God, and keeping to the Word the Holy Spirit reveals to us we will be strengthened. That Your glory will be revealed and we will have great victory and joy.
