A rainbow is caused by sunlight and atmospheric conditions.
Light enters a water droplet, slowing down and bending as it goes from air to denser water.
The light reflects off the inside of the droplet, separating into its colors.
When light exits the droplet, it makes a rainbow.
As revealed to Noah, the rainbow symbolizes God’s promise to never destroy the earth again with a worldwide flood.
That even in troubling times, when sin is prevailing in our lives, He is sending His angels to help us.
it is the sunshine of God’s love flooding all our sorrows and fears, giving us hope.
So whenever a rainbow appears in the clouds, we should look at it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.
He didn’t have to do it, but it is good to know that when God makes a promise, He keeps it.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Heavenly Father,, we know that the rainbow is the reflection of the beams of the sun shining upon or through the drops of rain. But most of all it symbolizes Your promise to never destroy the earth again with a worldwide flood. That it is a symbol of the glory of the seals of the covenant revealed to Noah, that Your angels are there to help us. Giving us a reason for hope. Thank You Father for the covenant. For giving us a chance to repent or come to You one by one.
