1 Peter 3:9 KJV
In life, we will have conversations where someone will express their disapproval on something.
They will perceive things as what they want instead of what they actually are.
Grant it, there are some who just truly don’t understand where someone is coming from.
Those that just want to criticize.
We all have a natural tendency to want to strike back or respond in a similar manner.
In moments like this and although it may be hard, we must pray.
Pray for an understanding before we speak.
Realizing that the response we make is a judgement of our own character.
The Lord has instructed us not to follow the ways that are not of Him.
Learn something from it and become all the wiser.
Keeping a positive attitude.
Keeping far from evil actions.
Continuing to do all the good we can.
Forget not, that God is wise, ever present, and taking care of us.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we all have a natural tendency to want to strike back at someone for something that is being said. Help us to take a moment and review the situation before responding. There could be a blessing hidden somewhere within. Something for us to learn that will help us become better servants for You Lord. Thank You for the guidance.
