Romans 12:18 KJV
It is human nature to want to inflict harm in return for an injury or a wrong done to oneself or someone that we know.
We desire to get satisfaction for the wrong by punishing the wrongdoer.
If at all possible, conflict resolution is a way for any of us to find the correct solution to our disagreements.
It can be one of the hardest things we do.
But when a dispute or situation does arise, the best course of action is found in God’s Word.
The best source of wisdom on how to handle any and all situations.
When we do, we find the patience and self-control that is in each of us.
Allowing us to live peaceably with all men as God desires.
So, whenever possible, before we let our temper get the best of us, we should look to the Word.
Seeing how God would have us handle it.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know there are times when we react before we think. Human nature can sometimes rise before our spiritual nature does. We are striving to live according to the Word and live peaceably with all men. Keep us Father as only You can.
