A “Missionary” is defined as a person sent on a religious mission.
We may not carry it as a title, but we are all called to spread the Word, as followers of Christ, who is our teacher, leader, and philosopher.
He has commissioned saints all over the world to spread the Word to all the nations.
We may not be one of the ones that travel, but there are many around us that we can tell of the goodness of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Letting them know that baptism in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost is the outward sign that shows that there has been an inward washing and that the gateway to a life in the Spirit has been opened.
A life that is now set to be filled with many blessings.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we thank You for the spiritual grace You afford us when we are baptized according to the Word. For the death of sin, and a new birth unto righteousness. May we faithfully spread the Word and draw men unto thee.
