Romans 10:13 KJV
There are so many things that come before us in our lifetime.
We sometimes look to friends or loved ones to help us make a decision.
But the decision to receive or reject Christ is a personal matter.
One that is something no one else can do for us.
Yes we have ministers that tell us about the fate that await those who do or do not believe.
They, just like the apostle, have an earnest desire for the salvation of us all.
We, and many around us, are praying for, pleading and reasoning with someone who is lost.
Trying to persuade them to receive Christ.
We are doing this on a daily basis.
But it is still their personal response that determines how they will spend the rest of their earthly life and their life after death.
No matter who we are, the promise is the same to all.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Keep praying that they will make the right call.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, the gospel is given, not only to be known and believed, but to be obeyed. We strengthen our faith when we continue to hear Your Word and follow it. We want to be living examples that help someone else make the right decision to follow You too.
