Psalms 40:8 KJV
There are many things we take pleasure in doing.
Things that give us much joy and satisfaction.
David knew what it meant to have this type of feeling.
He expressed it when he wrote this song.
It was a song of thankful worship to the Father.
A testimony that showed how much it meant to him to do the will of the Father.
That God’s Law was treasured in His heart.
The blessings he had received.
May our highest joy and greatest delight be to live according to God’s will.
To treasure His word in our hearts.
Doing His Will for the rest of our lives.
Giving thanks for the blessings we receive.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, To delight in doing Your will and meditating on Your word is our desire. May our lives be a testimony to Your love and grace. Singing about it just like David did.
