Romans 7:23 KJV
All of us have been in a position where our thoughts and actions can cause a spiritual conflict.
There is a battle between corruption and grace.
Whether we walk in the way of the flesh or in the way of the Lord.
In this verse, the apostle is not represented as one who is walking after the flesh, but as one who desired not to walk in that way, but in the way of the Lord.
He is warning us about letting our minds, outside influences, or lusts overtake us.
Against anything that causes us to sin.
Reminding us that no matter our situation to continue to bless the Lord, because He is providing us the support and the comfort we need.
As we strive to do God’s will, with the Holy Spirit there to guide us, we can continue to overcome the troubles around and within us.
Because of the strength God provides, we are triumphant over sin.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know we could never, on our own, deliver ourselves from the troubles and sins that try to prevail in our lives. That is why we give thanks to God for the way of salvation He has given us through You. The deliverance we receive from the enemy. Thank You for the support and comfort we need.
