A teacher or educator is someone who helps others acquire knowledge.
They get a person involved in the active construction of their knowledge.
Their teaching is usually from text books or other materials that are subject to change.
Spiritually, we have those that have been ordained to teach us, but the Lord is our Main teacher.
God is the Divine Author of the Bible, our textbook.
A textbook that never changes from year to year.
The Lord does not teach like other teachers.
His presentation is clear, with the power to influence and command us to really think about how we are living.
He does not teach like other teachers.
He is a teacher with authority.
An authority that causes one to desire the blessedness that Christian living brings.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, Thank You for being straightforward with us. We need to hear the Word presented clearly and confidently. Let us continue to follow Your example, so we draw nearer to You and speak the truth lovingly to one another.
