Hatred is an extreme dislike or disgust towards something or someone.
Hatred can be seen when there are feelings of envy or want for what another person has.
It can be, and often is, associated with feelings of anger, disgust, bitter conflict and hostility.
Hate can destroy a person.
Love is more powerful.
It is the power of Christ in action.
By bearing with each other, peace and harmony are preserved.
Hate is turned to love when we do right to those who would do us wrong.
We keep ourselves free from sin.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Lord, we know Your Word is true. Help us to continue to love our enemies, do good unto those who mistreat us and treat evil with kindness. Knowing that when we do this, You will keep our hearts free from hatred.
