Obedience: Wonderful Ways We Can Always Fulfill His Commands

Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

Today’s Verses: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV

Throughout our lives, we will have moments that need encouragement.

We find it through our readings, fellowshipping, and prayer.

In this passage, the Apostle Paul was writing to the church of Corinth.

He was encouraging believers to be “steadfast and immovable” in their faith. For them to excel in the work of the Lord. Assuring them that their labor was not in vain.

He inspired his fellow believers with biblical truths. To stay strong during hardships. To continue to grow in their faith.

The gospel that Apostle Paul preached is still true to this day.

They urge us to maintain consistency in our behavior. They inspire our spiritual growth. To be steadfast in faith. To be unmovable in times of trouble and hardships. To be unmovable in their Christian service. Always obeying the Lord’s commands.

God’s promises and warning come to build us up. He wants us to avoid the “deceitfulness of sin.”

Staying in the Word helps us develop relationships. We support and strengthen one another.

Our work for the Lord is not in vain. It is important to obey. Our service is important. We will earn divine rewards the more we live according to the Word.
Continue to read the Word. The Lord promises wisdom and knowledge is ours. Everything we need to live a good life.

Let us continue to build each other up. Inspire each other.

We all want to persevere through hard times. Grow in faith. To live an abundant life.

“Our labor is not in vain.”
