Jesus: Our Greatest Fence of Protection to Be Found

Today’s Reading: Psalms 138:6-8

Today’s Verses: “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me” Psalms 138:7 KJV

We all know that sometimes our way will get rough. That we will have our moments of weakness.

There will be times when the enemy tries to defeat us. To lead us down the wrong road.

We try to make plans on howe we will handle things.

Proverbs 16:9 KJV tells us, “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”

God will direct our steps and determine our outcome.

Many have heard the words, “Jesus be a fence all around me every day.” Our hearts desire is for him to be our way.

We say it in our songs, prayers, and pleas for spiritual and physical protection. We are asking for protection against harm. His guidance to resist temptations. Against danger.

Jesus is always there for guidance and support. He is there for us during difficult times.

The Scriptures are our greatest fence of protection.

They guide our footsteps by giving us a moral compass and a source of wisdom to direct our paths.

We can pray Lord, “Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me” (Psalms 119:133 KJV).

A prayer that asks for God’s Word to guide our actions. His way to Keep us from letting sin take control.

Despite our situation, we have to trust and submit to His will. His guidance will always make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).

The more we pray for His protection, we acknowledge that we depend on His power and will to fight our battles. To provide everything we need to be safe.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Savior, we come to You in prayer. We ask for your guidance and protection. We know that without it we will stumble and fall. We know that when we are weak, Your Word can make us strong. It is the fence of protection that we need. Thank You for being there for us all. Lord, be a fence all around us every day.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
