Really Amazing is the Outstanding Power Within Us

Today’s Reading: Acts 1:6-11

Today’s Verse: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8 KJV

There is power within each of us.

It is shown in different ways.

There is something about us that has an influence on someone else’s life.

A positive power is what we need most.

A positive power is what we need to be for each other.

We never know what someone is going through.

It is the best way to encourage someone as we go through life.

For the believer, power is an inherent characteristic of God (Romans 1:20 KJV).

His Spirit works in every believer.

Pastors and missionaries are not the only ones required to spread the Word.

When we receive Jesus as our personal Savior, we are called to do the same.

The Word tells us, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” (Romans 8:11).

Through the Word, the Father has given us the power to influence others.

To be the best example of what it means to put our trust in Him.
Our godly character continues to grow as we follow the Lord.

The Holy Spirit is our help (Acts 1:8 KJV). A major help is He.

Helping to produce the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance” (Galatians 5:22-23 KJV).

Characteristics and conducts that we cannot exhibit on our own.

A strong gospel message does not always come from the pulpit.

We will always need the help of the Holy Spirt. Our comforter and our guide.

A strong gospel message does not always come from the pulpit.

Under the influence of the Holy Spirit, our words, and deeds attract unbelievers to Christ.

A person may reject the Word, but they cannot ignore a righteous life.

As believers we will always have something about us that makes us stand out.

By showing peace instead of anxiety, we bear witness to the beauty of the gospel.

We let others know where all our strength comes from.

How we know that the Savior is managing all our concerns.

That He is doing it with perfect wisdom, truth, and love.

As we go through our days, remain steadfast in the Word.

The world needs to see believers who are obedient.

Believers that know what it means to serve Him.

We have the power within.

A powerful witness that can spread “unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Never forgetting that our words have great meaning.

Our actions send a message of His love.

A message regarding the Power that is within all of us.

Now is the time to tell it.

What a wonderful message it is.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, as a believer, we know that Your Spirit is always working on us. we know that the fruit of the spirits is the character and conduct that the Holy Spirit produces in each of us. The way we live is what others see the most. Thank You for the Holy Spirit leading and guiding every step of the way. May we live a life that is pleasing and according to the Word.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
