Today’s Reading: Psalms 5
Today’s Verses: “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalms 5:12 KJV
Protection and blessings. That is what we all desire in our lifetime.
Protection is keeping something or someone safe.
A blessing when we have someone in our lives that tries to keep us safe.
It could be our parents. It could be other family members. Anyone that the Lord has placed in our lives to be there for us.
In the Bible, it goes even deeper. Divine protection will always be found in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father.
He is always there to shield us from harm. Always there to guide us through life challenges.
God has promised to bless those who live righteously.
His protection includes our material prosperity. Our spiritual well-being. Our emotional security. It covers our hearts. It covers our minds. It covers our souls.
We have powerful protection from our enemies. Protection from any type of danger.
It is good to know that God’s divine shield of favor is always ours. It is a blessing to know that we have constant coverage.
Life will always have its moments of hardship. It will always have times of challenges.
God already knows about our future problems. He knows about our future needs. He will always act in advance. He does not want to wait for them to happen. He wants us to know how to handle the situation.
We are surrounded by His favor. His shield of protection. They are both weapons of defense. They are both reflections of His care and love.
He has given us the ability to make choices based on faith. To not react based on our circumstances.
That is why we constantly go t Him in prayer. That is why we must consistently read the Word. We are to actively pursue spiritual growth. To stay aligned with God’s will.
Both make it possible for us to get the guidance needed.
One can only imagine how much harder life would be without the Lord providing His security.
He protects us from all physical threats. From all spiritual threats. From all emotional threats.
No matter what the situation is in life, remind yourself of this fact.
There is safety in His arms. That you are blessed. That you will always find favor in His sight.
It will never cease. Keep standing strong in faith.
A WORD OF PRAYER
Father, we know that we have found favor in Your site the more we live by the Word. There is nothing like the shield of protection and the blessings that come from You. We desire to learn more about walking in humility and boldness. We want to live according to Your laws and commands. Not letting anything keep us from using the authority You have given us over our lives. Thank You for the favor that surrounds us.
