Never Leaving – This is the Great Promise to Us

Today’s Reading: Hebrews 13:1-6 KJV

Today’s Verse: “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5 KJV

As Christians we have reason to be in a state of satisfaction. To be at peace with our lives, regardless of any circumstance.

Today’s Scriptures speak to God’s faithfulness. They speak to His persistent love and commitment to completing the work He has started in our lives.

“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5 KJV).

This promise contains the sum and substance of all the promises.

These next Scriptures states God’s will to be with us as He was with Moses. Showing how no one can stand against us.

“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV).

“There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Joshua 1:5 KJV).

The Lord will always go before us. He will always be with us. He will never leave us or forsake us, so we should not be afraid or discouraged.

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed” (Deuteronomy 31:8 KJV).

Let us continue to stand on the promise that Jesus is always with us. That He is with us to the end of the age.

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20 KJV).

Our Father will never fail or abandon us. He will be with us always.

A WORD OF PRAYER

Father, we know that man can do nothing against us. They can try but will fail. We are Your children. We know that You can make all that they do against us, to turn to our good. We will continue to remind each other to observe all things whatsoever You have commanded. Knowing that You are with us always, even unto the end of the world. Thank You for standing on the promise that You will never leave us or forsake us.

In Jesus Name We Pray, Amen
